Stay or go, DeMar DeRozan says he'll support Kyle Lowry's decision

They finished off the Raptors about an hour before Game 4 between the Celtics and Wizards tipped off in Washington. Now the question becomes whether they build on this group or shuffle the deck.

The Cavaliers got their lead up to 16 points in the third quarter before the Raptors chipped away to reduce the lead to seven points on Ibaka's 3-pointer from the corner with 4:44 to play.

Both the LA Clippers and Kyle Lowry want the same thing: An NBA Championship.

But becoming a free agent is the only part of his future that he's considered.

Toronto posted back-to-back 50-win seasons for the first time in franchise history and reached the playoffs for the fourth straight year.

Only one team is left standing.

Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson rattles the rim on a slam dunk in the second half of Sunday's win at Toronto. That's simply not true.

The Spurs were playing in the postseason without Parker for the first time since 2001, ending an National Basketball Association record of 221 straight playoff appearances for the Frenchman.

DeRozan, who was coming off a career playoff high 37 points, went down in a heap in the second quarter after taking a knee to the groin from Iman Shumpert.

Kyle Lowry has made the worst-kept secret around the Toronto Raptors public.

Of course, Lowry is an interesting person to follow these days, as he becomes a free agent this summer.

The only clear-cut decision came from Lowry, who confirmed he will decline a $12 million option for the final season of the four-year, $48 million contract he signed in July 2014.

And so, the only win for the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the playoffs was a moral victory.

Toronto has Ibaka's Bird rights and will have the capability to re-sign him along with Lowry.

Turnovers: 12 (DeRozan 4, Powell 3, Joseph 2, Patterson, Tucker, VanVleet).

Can he get one with the Raptors? However, he was much less effective this postseason. It is a measure of LeBron James' greatness that he scored 35 points despite wearing six-foot-six 245-pound P.J. Tucker for most of the game. He averaged 36.0 points per game on over 55% from the field. But guys came here, put the hard hat on and went to work.

Blocked Shots: 3 (Valanciunas 3).

"If we had LeBron on our team, too, we would have won", DeRozan said.

For Tucker, finding the right fit is everything, finding the team that will use Tucker as a complementary piece, a veteran voice who demands respect and attention. Toronto would likely take quarters on the dollar, but it could be worth it to make room for some more versatile frontcourt depth. The Raptors still have DaMarre Carroll eating up cap space until 2019, and there isn't much of a ceiling for internal improvement. He gets into a good groove, and he's tough to stop. And certainly, Kyrie has not been at the top of his game in terms of shooting in the playoffs so far this year.

Maybe his best basketball has him feeling confident; James (nearly) chugged a beer on the court earlier in the Raptors series, after all. But we knew once we got healthy we can go on runs like this, and get our rotations set, and lock in defensively and do some things defensively that we knew we're capable of doing.
